About Busy Rascals.
Hello! My name is Rose, thank you for visiting the Busy Rascals website.
Busy Rascals is intended to help all parents are carers feel like they are not alone. It is a safe space for you to engage in one-to-one play with your child or to just sit back and relax with a cup of something hot and caffeinated whilst they enjoy some independent play in a social environment.
Busy Rascals was created off the back of a weekly baby and toddler group I ran with a fellow mum I met out in the woods on a chance encounter. We bonded over the lack of social opportunities for parents in the Forest of Dean.
I am a mum of 1 human, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 3 rescue chickens! After a career change from the fashion industry in 2015 I am now a part-time Veterinary Nurse specialising in emergency and critical care at a large referral hospital in Bristol. My love of art is never far though and has helped me with the creative process of designing Busy Rascals.
Hopefully this is just the start of what can be access to more play and social opportunities for the Forest of Dean community.
